Check run-of on roof & see if it's been reduced lately, it may just be a plugged drain at base of unit on roof.

Where are the condensing water drains?on a Coleman RV rooftop air conditioner

The condenser drains for a roof unit drain on top of the rv. There are on hoses which divert the condensation to a location other than the roof. Are you trying to keep it from dripping down at the door?

Our penquin dometic air conditioner in the bedroom pours leaks lots of water when the unit is on during rain storms. Water leaks into the ceiling and also out the unit.

Sounds like base gasket at roof is loose or defective to start with. Try removing ceiling assembly enough to tighten 4 bolts that secure roof unit to inside bracket. Do not compress too much, just snug them all evenly and see if water slows or stops. If not, you will have to remove upper unit (roof) and replace gasket and re-secure but don't tighten to excessive, only compress gasket approx half of original thickness. Also make sure upper unit is aligned properly with opening of roof.

When set at coojest setting, water begins to pool on roof of my motor home

It is normal for water to come out of your unit. On some units there is a drain line if you take the top off of the unit you will see the line hooked to the condenser side (cold) of the unit. But most units just let water run out on the roof and run off. Your unit may have settled or if you have applied a sealant on your roof you may have changed the flow of the discharged water. The water is moisture that condenses from the air inside your rv. This should not cause you any problems unless you have a leak in your roof.

Water dripping out of rv ac into rv.

Is it a ducted system? If yes, check that there isn't gaps between the divider that separates return air at the front, with forced(cold) air. You can usually use a flashlight and look for gaps, or even (very carefully) feel it blowing cold into the warm air return. If you find some gaps, buy some foil tape, and tape them off good and retry and see if it still happens. Some older units experienced cracks in drip trays that allowed condensation to drip inside as well. Get back to me with year of your RV, and whether it's ducted or non-ducted system, and perhaps I can guide you better on what to look for.

I have condensation dripping off the inside case of my domectic caravan air conditioner

Clean the air filter and blow the fins off to stop this problem dirt will cause it to draw water so pull the cover blow out the air cleaner and blow out the coils inside andon the roof this shoud take care of your problems. IF it does not clear up try cleaning the drain hole in the top of the unit by removing the outter cover and make sure the drain tube isclean.

On my 28 foot Itasca motorhome the air conditioner is leaking water through the gasket on the roof. I pulled the inside cover off and took out the four big boltd holding the roof top section, but I can't...

You need to find where the drain is. The water should flow to a drain and not into the unit. Once you get the condensation draining properly you can use a good quality silicone to seat around the unit. You might check at a RV parts place and find a product they recommend for RV roofs. Hope this helps.

Both units are liaking water inside coach. Have claned out overflo

Did you check & make sure drain holes were cleaned out in base of unit on roof? When you say overflow, do you mean drip pans under cover on roof unit, and if so, did you inspect them for cracks ? There were some years that experience cracks in drip pans.

My dometic RV rooftop air conditioner is leaking on the inside of the camper even after I cleaned the water condensation drain on top of the roof. What could be causing this? The fan is blowing the water...

Remove all covers and look down with them removed and see if the coil drain pan has a stopped up exit where the water drains out and into the rear of the AC unit.

If the unit is off level it could cause a draining problem too.

Either your 14"x14" a/c gasket is lose on the roof allowing the condensation to flow into your RV or you have a cracked condensation tray under the evaporator. I'm guessing the later
