Compaq keyboard randomly stopped working.

Compaq keyboard randomly stopped working. Caps lock/Numb lock/ ect. light do not light up, shortcut buttons on top of keyboard flash once when I unplug the keyboard and plug it back in (not usb)

wellcome,you need to try another keyboard to rectify the faulty area,if persisted you need to service the motherboard.

Hello

Have you tried another keyboard? What troubles me is you said that lights blink when you unplug and replug it in. This jack was never intened to be hot swappable (meaning plug and unplug with power on. I hope the only thing wrong is the keyboard else you'll need a serviceperson to diagnose the motherboard.
