Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP2 Full Version OEM for PC
This is known as no boot at splash screen...
Please try to work through steps in this article to determine the problem...I recommend you run chkdsk from a recovery cd or xp installation cd if you can, to check your hard drive for corruption. (see here and here)
Begin by attemtpting to boot into Last Known Good Configuration or Safe Mode by pressing F8 as it boots up...

If you get windows started, take a look at your Event Viewer and investigate the errors or warning messages reported there.
If you get any stop error codes or other error messages, write back and we'll help you sort it out....
