Question about Nintendo Wii Console
My wii shuts down completely when I try to turn it on. The red light on the power button turns on when I try to reconnect everything, but when I push power the light turns green briefly and the disc slot lights up blue then it immediately shuts down. After this happens the wii appears to have no power and doesn't respond when i push the power button.
HI, the power sector has failed in your unit. this will cause the issues you are experiencing at this time. you will need to contact Nintendo at this time. they will issue you a repair ticket so that this unit can be repair. the power sector will need to be replaced(Power component failure).

Tips for a great answer:
Locate the "reset" button on the front of the Wii console. Hold it down for a few seconds to reset the device.
Wait for the home screen to appear, then hold down the "power" button on the front of the Wii until the power light turns red and the Wii shuts down.
Unplug the Wii's power supply from the wall outlet or power strip.
Leave the Wii console unplugged for at least five minutes. Reconnect the power supply and press the power button to turn the Wii back on and complete the hard reset.
