    This is a manufactured home. 27' x 60. 1620sf

Well, it is upright, I can't seem to locate the manual for it. There are some conecters type things on the inside panel door, is that it? I always thought you just had to pull something out? I never watched him change it...guess, I should have, what is the best type of filter to get? This one looks rather beat up....

Normally on back of front cover you removed. Is this an upright style intertherm? Look where air intake louvers are on the cover. We normally have them on backside of them. Is this a mobile home? 12' wide x 40' long, or similar?

So the front panel of furnace has louvers for air intake correct? You lift up or pull cover off?

Depending on model of furnace, some are washable, some just pop in & out and can be picked up at any pretty well any hardware store. Most of the ones I deal with daily are 16"x20"x1"thick, and just slide/fold slightly, into door on back side of where air grilles are on door.

Do you see a model # anywhere below blower on furnace there is usually a tag (paper) with model & serial number just below blower wheel & housing.?

Intertherm gas furnace in mobile home..igniter comes on then nothing tries to fire byrners but nothing

by igniter I assume you mean the thermocoupler. are you turning the control button to run after you light the pilot light? Normally when those furnaces quit it is the thermocoupler that has quit. Get a new one and leave it in the furnace compartment as a spare.

How to install an intertherm furnace filter for MGHA-070AAFC-02

Hi, this is a 4 ton package unit, most filters are in the home. There should be a drop down grill somewhere in the home, maybe more then 1. If not, the filter would go on the blower back side of the evaporator coil. Remove the panel and see if it has a slot for a filter.

When I turn on my furance or ac the blower is always on even though the fan is set to auto. When it is on heat it never gives off any hot air, so it never warms up the house. I had someone look at it and...

If this is a mobile home furnace they usually have a two stage gas valve. Generally they just have a delay in opening fully and are convertable from L.P to natural gas or vice versa. It is a possibilty that the gas valve is bad. If so it will have to be replaced. First I would have someone check your thermostat to see if that is what is causeing the blower to run . does the burner ever light? I wouldsuggest that you hire a service tech. who is knowledgable on intertherm furnaces. I don't recommend anyone who is not trained to change gas valves, because of safty concerns. I hope this helps you some. Thanks

I have a Nordyne/Intertherm electric furnace #E2EH-012 in a mfg home I just moved into. The Handy Man removed a 16 x 20 x 1 filter (very dirty) from "somewhere". I'm not sure where a replacement filter...

The filter will go in to the backside (inside) of the cover with fins in it. There is a 1" (approx) bend (lip) there to hold filter in against backside of cover, in front of air vents. You may have to bend it slightly to get it in there but it will eventually fit in there snug. Incoming air will then be filtered as it is drawn through that filter, into blower area.
As far as fan switch goes, "auto mode" will be used when furnace is on, and fan will come on & off as necessary to dissipate heat as required. "Ventilate", should be basically same as "On", where the fan comes on to circulate the air throughout the home, just for airflow, and you control it manually.
So, when using furnace, have fan in "auto Mode".

I have a intertherm furnace and need to know how to tell the proper filter size this is a mobile home

The best thing to do is buy a washable horsehair filter from home depot and cut it to fit. They are green in color and you cut any size you want. They slide in the door of a gas furnace or along each side of the A coil in an electric furnace. That is your best bet. Most of the time the furnaces comes witha washable filter and it is thrown away after afeew times. Rus

Where are the furnace filters in my older furnace?

Open the door to the airhandling unit inside the closet by lifting upward on them. There should be two filters located on top of the A coil.
