Battery connections I forgot to observe the polarity placement for the battery connectors when I removed the 2 batteries. Also, the connector wire that joins the 2 batteries. Connect the bike wires to the + posts and join the 2 batteries with the connector wire on the - posts?

Check the voltage rating of the motor (for example 12 volts). If the voltage rating of the battery is half the voltage rating of the motor, then connect one bike wire to the + post of the first battery, connect the - post of that battery to the + post of the second battery and connect the second bike wire to the - post of the second battery. This is a series connection. Two 6 volt batteries connected in series will provide 12 volts. If the voltage of the motor and the battery is the same there would be another connector so I do not think that is the case for your setup.

If the motor runs backwards, reverse the connections of the bike wires to the batteries.

Where do you replace the battery on this safe and what kind of battery

Although the following is applicable to most Safe, you model may differ.

The hardest part about changing the battery in a digital safe is finding where it is. But don't worry, it's not inside. The battery compartment is under the keypad, and has a little tiny hole for removal. If you don't have a jeweler's screwdriver that is small enough, you can use a straightened-out paper clip. The battery is a 9 volt.

Things You'll Need

  • Jeweler's screwdriver or paper clip
  • 9-volt battery
  • Insert the jeweler's screwdriver or paper clip into the small hole in the plastic panel, just below the keypad and to the right of the keyhole.
  • Slide the panel to the right.
  • Carefully pull the old battery out.
  • Carefully unsnap the wire connector from of the old battery. The connections are like clothing snaps and just pull off.
  • Snap the connector onto the new battery. Be sure to observe polarity--it will fit only one way.
  • Carefully put the new battery into the battery compartment, storing the wires out of the way of the cover.
  • Insert the cover in its slots, and slide it back into place with the jeweler's screwdriver or the paper clip.

How do you install a new battery? Where is the battery??

Under the hood on drivers side, unless it is an import and then it could be under the back seat or in the trunk. If not immediately apparent Google 'make model battery location'.

How to change the battery?

This is very important if you want to avoid the battery change problems that we see and try solve here every day.

Get two pieces of insulated wire and strip 3" from the end and attach them to the new battery at the base of the connectors and tape them to the bare part of the battery connectors on the old battery.

Take the connectors off the old battery and move it out of the way.

Install the new battery and connect the connectors making sure you have the correct polarity + to + and minus to minus. Tighten the connectors and then remove the wires. This way you have power to the anti-theft system and the ECM all the time. You won't be coming back and say "I changed my battery and now my car won't start and the theft light is on" :>)

Connecting battaries for a Rascal Autogo

When you put the second battery in the case paying attention to polarity position, the longer wire will go to the top connector. If you have a voltmeter you can identify which wire has 12 volts on it. It should be the brown wire but verify anyway. This wire has to be connected to the NEGATIVE terminal of the second battery in order to get 24 volts to the scooter. The remaining wire connects to the positive terminal of the battery.

Plugigng of wire in board

Hello there,

Below is an image of *********** Board with number indication and wiring explanation. From your manual page 1-6 you can see the image below and 1-7 for the connector, jumpers, slots. as indicated in your problem I will only answer problems related to the wirings.

pcsyke_115.jpg

  • For the Front Panel

pcsyke_117.jpg
1. There are 8 wires from the front panel's casing, excluding USB connectors and front audio cable.

2. Just plug the front panel switch headers to the F_Panel main board connectors. 1 & 2 are positive, if the led do not light change polarity but Im sure it will.

Note:The mainboard provides a front panel connector for electrical connection to the front panel switches and LEDs. JFP1 is compliant with Intel® Front Panel I/O Connectivity Design Guide.

  • For the USB connectors

pcsyke_118.jpg

1. If your casing has a USB header on the front bezel you can put it on any connector. You can also purchase a USB module cable or an internal card reader and plug the headers to any of those connectors.

Note: Observe Polarity, do this Vcc, -Data, +Data, Gnd ,(NC) ground is always near to NC.

Plug it at your own risk, reference image are already shown.

  • Front Panel Audio connectors

pcsyke_119.jpg
1. Look for FP_Audio header from your casing and plug it to the connector.

*Asus recommend you connect a high definition front panel audio module to this connector to avail of the motherboard's high-definition audio capability.

Hopefully this information helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Hi, i was wondering if you can help me with my ti-84 plus silver edition calculator. The problem is that it simply won't turn on, even with NEW batteries. Thank you

1. Check the battery holding area and make sure that all of the connectors are protruding enouugh for the batteries to make a good connection.
2. Check the diagram for exact polarity placement.
3. If still no power, try using you electrical plug for power. The problem could be with a connector and you may have to purchase a new TI.

How do I replace batteries

lallman first unplug the joystick cable from the base plug then remove the seat by lifting it off the center post (there is a pin or bolt in the post under the seat that you need to remove) Once you have the seat off you will be able to see the 2 battery boxes. Unplug the connector from the boxes by turning the connector and pulling them out. Undo the straps around each battery box and take them off (they will only go so far because of the battery wires. Remove the wires from the batteries and reinstall on the new batteries paying attention to the polarity red to pos and black to neg. Then reinstall like you remove them. Hope this helps you

Battery not charging!

If the battery is 2 years old, then buy a replacement battery, see if it charges. Portable batteries are good for roughly 300 to 500 recharge/discharge cycles before they begin to fail roughly 18 months. Dell warrants the Battery for 1 year, so there is no warranty on the battery. If a replacement battery doesn't charge, then the motherboard will need to be replaced. If under warranty, Dell will fix it, if not, motherboards are $100-150 on Ebay.

CMOS battery bad

Acer TravelMate 225X solution:
The battery type CR2032 (Lithium, 3V, 20mm/3.2mm) is the same as mentioned in solution #1 but you must use a cell with connected wires and a 3-pin connector. It is hard to buy. A workaround is (1) to use the battery with connected tabs or (2) the battery holder (maybe BH1060 or similar). Original wire and connector from old battery must be cut out and soldered to new battery tabs or holder pins. Remember polarity - note the wire colors.

The battery position is under keyboard in the central position between the PCMCIA slot and the CD-ROM slot. Remove the strip cover near the display, slide the keyboard in the direction of display and lift it up.
