Question about Canon PIXMA MP830 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I was away for the weekend, when I came back and went to turn on the printer after turning on the computer I heard a sound...like something was falling, and then the printer wouldn't turn on. All connections are secure, there is no apparent reason why it won't turn on. What is wrong and how do I fix it?!
It could be your cartridges is not in its home position, as you heard some sound, it was an indicator that the platform is trying to go and find its home position.
try these steps:
-plug this to a different outlet -move with your hand gently the cartridges assy to your left and to your right,
if you can feel some resistance while moving see if there is any obstruction and clear this out first.
reset the whole printer by unplugging
