Question about Xerox WorkCentre Pro 123 All-In-One Laser Printer

Unable to print envelopes on Xerox WorkCentre Pro 123

I've been trying to figure out a way to print a 3 5/8"x 6 1/2" envelope on the Xerox WorkCentre Pro 123, but haven't been able to figure it out. I know I have to use tray 5, the bypass tray, and in the machine settings I entered in the envelope's manual size (for tray 5), but in MS Word, there's no option at appears to select this custom size. I don't know what I do and can't find any troubleshooting pages.

Extended tray is not set up properly for envelopes. Solution: Unable to print envelopes on Xerox WorkCentre Pro - thumbsup.gif Fixed! thumbsdn.gif Did not fix. Enter tools "Login" 1,1,1,1,1 Touch buttons with the following names in that order: System Settings System Settings Common Settings Other Settings Scroll down to "Extended Tray" Next to "Extended Tray" it may say "Inverter" if it does go to change settings then change it to "Offset Stacking" Close out tools.

I need to print standard size 10 envelopes. Where/How do I load them? WorkCentre7335

Some setup will be necessary both on the WorkCenter and in your software. I will describe these steps and leave you with a link to Xerox to check as a reference:

On the WorkCenter 7335

1) In the Bypass tray, load the std. 10 envelopes width-wise with the side to be printed down, flaps tucked in and with flaps entering the printer first. Slide the guide to just touch the edges.

2) Touch <Change Settings> on the WC 7335 screen

3) Select "Envelope" from the "Paper Type" list

4) Select "No. 10 Env" from the "Paper Size" list

5) Select "Save"

6) Select "Confirm"

In your software:

As you did not specify your software, it is important to note that whatever application you are using, the following settings must agree with the steps above:

1) Feed method = Face down, Clockwise rotation

2) Feed from = Bypass

These options may be chosen in different ways depending on your software program.

You may review these setup steps for Word here:

How do i print envelopes on a Lanier LP331cn laser color printer?

You should see a bypass tray near the main paper tray. On laniers it is recommended you use the bypass tray for envelopes.

when you send a print job make sure to select the bypass paper tray option

Unable to print #10 envelopes on my Xerox WorkCentre 7675... I am using Microsoft Word and selecting the Bypass tray, but I'm still unable to print on these envelopes. Are there any other solutions?

Although you can lie to the 76XX series machine and get it to print on envelopes, the machine clearly shows that it does not take envelopes on the tray pictures. "Only C4 (229 x 324 mm / 9 x 12.7 in.) and C5 (102 x 229 mm / 4 x 8.7 in.) sized envelopes can be used with this printer; Number 10 envelopes are not supported. Attempting to use any other envelope sizes in this printer could result in jams. or damage to the printer. Do not use envelopes other than what is supported. "

Insert them Face up, flaps closed, leading edge to the right. When it asks, tell it envelopes, and give the size.

In the Envelopes section, under Mailings, Options, choose face up, and the 5th picture. It should work, but the envelopes sure get wrinkled.

I can't seem to print envelopes on the xerox workcentre 7345. I fed the envelope into the bypass tray, configured the settings on the workcentre as well as the word doc, but it gives me an error 012-255....

There is a lengthy set up process to that. I would recommend going ot Xerox.com, then at the home page, click on Support and drivers. When you get to that page, type in 7345, then click on the support home page, once there type in envelopes and the step by step instructions are there.
You are correct, setting up envelope printing on that machine can cause you to beat your head against a wall. The machine settings and the driver settings MUST be set exact. And it may take 3 or 4 tries, even for a service rep to get it all correct. Trust me on that LOL.
But once set up, it does a nice job. It is just very picky. Personally, I think it is way over designed just to print an envelope.

Envolope Printing

The XD100 has a manual feed on the right side of the device. You can slide the guides to fit the envelope. Use the envelope printing in your program and I believe you need to specify the size of the envelope in the driver. I think you want to feed the envelope face down (side to be printed down) to have it print on the correct side, but I could be wrong. One way to check of course, try it one way and if it prints on the wrong side, flip it over. There may be an image on the feed slot that shows which side to use.
