My RST210 2 stroke petrol strimmer won start it has a spark at the plug also the plug is flooding so fuel is getting through but non start ? Great full for any ideas

Often it's the easiest thing that stump us. Try changing the spark plug first. Sometimes a spark plug just won't fire under load, i.e., while it's in the cylinder but will spark if you have it removed. There are checkers for this, but it's a lot less expensive to just replace the spark plug. Do that first and let me know.

carburetor have a setting level for its fuel , check the floating control adjust fuel level , also check spark plug current is there, just by rotating engine and keeping spark plug out of cylinder , just keeping it with engine body.

Wont start

have you checked petrol and is it getting through to carb ?

have you checked spark plug and are you getting a spark from it

remove ht lead and undo spark plug
put spark plug back in plug cap and touch the end of the spark plug against the frame and move kickstart with hand

you should see the spark plug sparking
Obviously make sure there is no petrol around the area first

hope that helps

Spear & Jackson 33cc Petrol Grass Strimmer SGT33N, black fuel pipe split. How to replace it?

empty the petrol, feed the black line (the fuel intake) into the tank and grab the end of it thats attached to the filter inside the tank. now you can feed a new fuel line through into the tank and reattach to the filter. hopefully this will solve your problem ive just done this but mine still wont start, either flooded or spark plug. by the way i bought mine new and the fuel line was split.

Petrol strimmer keeps needing new spark plugs

There is very little to go wrong with a newish spark plug, so it is either getting to hot ans whiskering the plug gap ( the plug will look very white around the electrode and a tiny whisker will bridge the gap ) or the porcelain insulator on the plug electrode has suffered carbon fouling due to the engine running too rich, in which case just clean the plug so as the porcelaine is white again.

Having problems starting Makita strimmer. There is quite a lot of smoke coming out and then it stops. Have looked at spark plug -clean, and cleaned air filter. Could the problem be the petrol and oil mix.

Use 50:1 gas/oil with a GOOD QUALITY 2-cycle low-ash synthetic oil.

Remove the muffler and check the spark arrestor isn't partially blocked.

With a clear muffler, and the mix as described, there will be hardly any smoke at all.

Huskvarna petrol strimmer

check spark plug connection & spark it self.
how I hear you ask...................
1st- ly remove plug connection from spark and place a screwdrive down into the rubber seal & scrach the sm.plate at the bottom remove s.driver and spray with WD40 and try this - failing this remove sparkplug from motor and ask some one to hold it and repeat after me -lol. No really place the bottom of the spark to the gills of the motor and pull cord - this will show you if the spark has a spark....if it dosen't then clean with sand paper and try again......
still no spark then you will need a new spark plug....
the type of head should make NO differents to the motor.
also it may be that you have flooded the engine in this case you just nedd to keep pulling cord in the on pos.with no prim.
hope one of these will work for you . best of luck.P
