The audio of you laptop is not standard format. You need to change the audio format to standard in order to match to the tv audio.

Tv flashes a blue screen and then goes black. I can change stations but get audio only.

If you're using audio video cords then you should replace the yellow video portion. If this still gives you trouble try using just a standard coaxial cord.

I have an Acer aspire m3200. I tried to connect it to my hdtv, i got picture but no sound using the VGA cord, and got nothing using the HDMI cord. Please help

Hello,
Using a vga cable to connect your laptop to a hdtv is very easy but the cable does not transfer the audio signal, you need another cable aswell. You need a 3.5mm jack to jack cable, one end plugs into your headphone socket on your laptop and the other end plugs into the pc audio socket at the back of your tv (usually next to where you plug in the vga plug).

Hello I have some movies on my laptop but now I want to wach them on tv on my TV I have only scart-input,experts told me I need a cable with D15 connecting from my laptop to one transformer to my...

Most Laptops use S-Video as a way to display video on your TV screen.
You can pick up a S-Video cable at your local Electronics store IE Radio Shack. Before purchasing the cable ensure your TV has the correct input.

The four main types are (in increasing quality):
1. S-Video [2 types: 4Pin as in picture'7Pin]
Port: http://www.coloredhome.com/video/s-video...
Cord: http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/graphic...
2. VGA
Port: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...
Cord: http://www.thisishowyoudoit.com/blogimag...
3. DVI
Port: http://vocaro.com/trevor/blog/wp-content...
Cord: http://www.tech-faq.com/dvi-hdtv-connect...
4. HDMI - also transfer sound signal
Port: http://media.bestofmicro.com/,2-3-49323-...
Cord: http://www.k1cable.com/images/hdmi_000.j...

All of these do the same thing: The laptop sends the video information through the Port and the Cord. Your TV Recieves that information in its port. Numbers 1 to 3 do not transfer sound, so you will need a separate adapter for your headphone to TV Audio. #4 HDMI transfers both sound and audio data, so you won't need a separate cable for sound.
Check if your TV has corresponding ports. If not, you can buy adapters. This is an example of a VGA to RCA(Red/White/Yellow analog cables) and S-Video

Want to connect laptop to tv?

If you are using a LCD/TFT tv it will have HDMI and VGA inputs.
You only need a simple vga lead but this only transfers video not sound.
You can get a usb to hdmi lead, you can also plug in audio leads from your headphone socket and this will transfer video and audio.

No audio output to tv on my dell 1545

That, & most, earphone sockets, simply doesn't have enough "Current" or signal voltage to drive your TV set's audio in Amplifier. You need to get a Pre-Amp, to amplify the signal, up to a level that can be used by the TV. So you need to purchase, or build from a kit, a small stereo pre-amp and insert it between your laptop & TV audio In.

No. wrong frequency. Your TV needs a VGA input (PC) and you would need an adapter to convert from HDMI to VGA then run a stereo mini from the laptop to the TV for audio. If you need more specifics, post your TV make and model #. I will help you further. Hope this helps
