SOURCE: dishwasher f1 problem on fisher paykel

All the information that I have found about this particular problem indicates that the "F1" error is a flood or overflow alarm. It's generally caused by a clog in the drain line and/or tub not sealing properly when closed.

If this is a drawer style dishwasher there is a lid in the equipment cabinet that must seat properly on the drawer when it is closed. If you place items in the dishwasher that are too tall for the drawer lid to seat properly, it will not seal and water will splash over the sides of the tub during the wash cycle.

Another common problem is a clogged or kinked drain line. Remove the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged. Check it at BOTH ends.

The alarm is activated by a float switch in the bottom tray of the dishwasher. Look to see if this is any standing water in the bottom tray. If there is any water, or signs of wetness, the alarm will not clear until it is dried out. I found a couple of recommendations to clear the alarm. The first involved removing the dishwasher from where it is installed and tilting it at a 45 degree angle to pour any standing water out. Another method is to dry the bottom out with towels as best you can, and then use a hair dryer to dry any residual water. I hope I'm on the right track with this and I hope this solves your problem. Post back if you have any further questions.

CAUTION: UNPLUG the dishwasher or turn off the breaker BEFORE servicing inside the cabinet.

SOURCE: My dishwasher keeps flashing F1 error message

The f1 code is caused moisture in the electronics part most likely in the door.see if there is any way that you can see where moisture might get in and plug that spot up. In the case of the f1 code when not using the dishwasher leave the door propped open to help dry out the electronics.

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel single drawer dishwasher F1 flashing.

F1 indicates a problem with the Flood sensor. I cleaned all the filters etc. removed the drawer viewed under the drawer, it was dry. There is nothing further I can do, so called the Appliances repair person and booked an appointment for him to determine if an outlet hose is blocked or has a hole in it or whatever. Thanks for all the suggestions Blokes. I'm technically challenged. Happy New Year

What error code is on Fisher and Paykel dishdrawer DD60DDFX9 flashing leds

About the F4 error code on the Fisher and Paykel DD60DDFX9 dishwasher:
The F4 error code on your DD60DDFX9 dishwasher indicates a fault with the heating element or the temperature sensor. When the dishwasher encounters a heating fault, it is unable to heat the water to the correct temperature required for the wash and rinse cycles. This can result in poor cleaning performance and may also affect the dishwasher's ability to sanitize the dishes.
To troubleshoot the F4 error code, you can try the following:
  1. Check the heating element: Use a multimeter to test the heating element for continuity. If the heating element is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
  2. Check the temperature sensor: Test the temperature sensor using a multimeter. The sensor should show a resistance value of between 10,000 and 12,000 ohms at room temperature. If the resistance value is outside of this range, the sensor may need to be replaced.
  3. Check the wiring and connections: Inspect the wiring and connections between the heating element and the control board. Make sure all connections are secure and free of damage or corrosion.
  4. Check the control board: If the heating element and temperature sensor are both working properly, the issue may be with the control board. A certified repair technician will need to diagnose and replace the control board if necessary.

Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Model 920 has controller 521793p - tripping outside meter board circuit breaker after it has been operating for only a couple of minutes. ?? replace/repair module?

maybe
circuit breakers trip from excessive current and poor insulation or moisture around electrical contacts
call in an electrician to test the unit first and then repair / replace what is found to be faulty
remember that the power point for the unit may also be on the house circuit that is having a problem unit somewhere else that is causing the fault

Fisher and Paykel DW920 dishwasher pump wont stop

This means the flood circuit is triggered. There is a leak in the dishwasher causing water to collect in the motor chamber. The leak is usually through the door seals or broken hose. Disconnect mains electric and water connections and pull dishwasher out from under kitchen bench. Tilt it from side to side to get the water out from under the base. Wait a little for water to dry up. Reconnect mains power and turn on to see if pump stops running. As mentioned source of leak needs to be fixed.

F3 comes on and dishwasher beeps, how do i fix this

you have a faulty temperature sensor, it is located inside the door panel, it is connected to the control module by 2 wires, the simiconductor is either open circuit or shorted internally, unfortunately fisher and Paykel only sell this item as part of the control module, try buying a second hand control module from a dealer or on an auction site, i believe the cost at f&p is about $150.00, sorry I can't help more.

Fisher Paykel control panel to far left side has a film on it that chipped off - showing a shinner stainless steal under it. I guess this is a coating of some sort. Dish draws are 4 1/2 yrs old. Mild det...

You can buys the parts that look chipped/ broken and replace them. Panel parts are very easy to replace.

Check out which parts you need from the parts manual and order from the local fisher and paykel distributor.

DETERGENT DISPENSER NOT EMPTYING ON DD603SS

Hi- It sounds like the solenoid on the dispenser is not changing the water diverter to the wash portion (cup) of the dispenser. You most likely need a new dispenser. Probably best to have a Tech out to change it.
