Question about Frigidaire Kitchen Ranges
Take a look at your ignitor. If you have recently replaced the oven safety valve yu might have to adjust the orifice below the burner. They do not come preset. Here is the actual system you have and the reasoning behind replacement of that ignitor. If you have a clamp-on type ammeter, that ignitor ought to draw 3.5 amps or more so that it can open the gas safety feature located deep within the valve itself. That feature is a bi-metal flap which bends and allows the gas to flow to that burner. If you do not have a fancy amp meter you can take a look at the ignitor itself and tell. If it is too bright to look at then it is probably ok, however if it is real dim orange then it is weak, bad, kaput. Replace it.
