Your pram battery or hard drive has failed. Find a start up CD/DVD and boot from it and try and repair the drive. If the drive is seen it has forgotten or lost its "blessing" as the boot drive. Go to control panel and choose the hard drive as the boot device. If you cant see the hard drive then the hard drive has failed for whatever reason.
