please describe the issue. Is it not downloading the apps like the download bar is getting stuck or do you get an error message. Please be as descriptive as possible.

any card that runs that hot will have problems, you can clean up the cooler and heat sink, put on some new silver thermal paste, give your computer a hover and clear out the dust.

I have the same problem to it seems everyone who uses face book and plays that game has the problem its not you its face book there due maintenance as always and yes it slows the games down nothing you can do until there done ,don't know if that helped any

Once I play bubble Island and get a score it will close down and only a blue screen will appear for about a min then I will get a pop saying a plugin has been unresponsive or has close unexpectly also while playing the game is moving in slow motion I ask my freinds r they having a problem with their game she said yes

The thing is '.dll' type files are a lot of important to run any application and I think that the disk dont have it already in it so there might be a disk problem or this could be because its too old because modern versions of windows like vista, 7 or xp cannot play old games or apps. Your pc probably could play any of the modern games.

yeah im having the same problem, i assume its to do with the new 3.41 patch people have said they can't even upgrade their hdd's anymore sony will probably fix this with a patch, i have a 500gb ps3 load times ont he xmb are slow takes longer than it did, best answer i can give you is the new patch is the problem, not your system or model so dont worry once sony figures it out then we can all breathe better

Switch off cellphone and press and hold CALL + 3 + * and press power button dont unpress these CALL + 3 + * keys for 1 minute.After that your phone will hard format. Now your problem will be solved.Thanks

You may want to try the following.

Disable windows search, it may be trying to index files in the background and HD access may cause annoying pauses while playing games.

Check that your anti virus is not running an automatic or scheduled scan when you are playing, this will deffinatley cause jittering.

Are you uning an integrated graphics chipset ? If you are you may want to upgrade to a discrete card AMD 3850 are very cheap and i use mine for Mirrors Edge and Battleforge and it runs great.

Update your graphics card drivers.

Use add remove programs and get rid of everthing you dont use. The apps may have processes running when you are not even using them. iTunes and Quicktime are really bad in this respect.

It you are playing online ensure that you are not running file sharing apps in the background. Also if you share internet access with anyone else check they are not doing the same. File sharing is a nightmare for online playing performance.

Close everything you are not using including IE and Firefox. Flash ads in web browsers can use a suprising amount of CPU time.

That would be the game, i hear that not all ps2 games are compatible for the ps3 so dont panic it wont be the ps3 some ps2 game do run slow and some other games work perfectly fine on ps3.
