then twice).

will send out a POWER signal from the next code
contained in the memory). You may have to press
this key many times (up to 150 times) so please
be patient.
If you skip past a code, you can go to the previous
code(s) by pressing the CH- key. Remember to keep

SOURCE: bought remote from dollar store no instruction

I've bought the same remote control w/ out brand, and I've been using that for a long time. When I bought, it came w/ a manual w/ many codes... but u can use the general search that for me is better.

For example, you wanna fix a TV

1st - press SET button and the TV1 button AT THE SAME TIME (the RED light might be turned ON)

2nd - Press the SET buttton, and you'll see the red light shine, twinkle. (it means that the remote control is trying all codes)

3rd - while the red light twinkle, try pres the ON/OFF button... you should press the ON/OFF button many times, and when the TV turns off is because you found the code, so press TV1 button to stop the research in your remote control.

***PAY ATTENTION!!! If you don't stop the research at the same time that the remote control find the code, you'll lose the code... so you need restart everything again.

I hope it gonna help you!

How do I link my new remote control to my television without the manual ?

  1. Identify the brand and model of your television: Look for the brand name and model number of your television. This information is usually located on the back or side of the TV itself. Knowing the brand and model will help you find the correct remote control codes for programming.
  2. Search for remote control codes: Most remote controls come with a set of codes for various television brands. Without the manual, you can try searching for the remote control codes online. Many websites and databases provide lists of codes for different TV brands.
  3. Entering the codes manually: Once you find the code for your TV brand, follow these steps to enter it into the remote control:a. Turn on your television. b. Press and hold the "Setup" or "Code Search" button on the remote until the indicator light turns on. c. Enter the code for your TV brand using the remote's number buttons. The indicator light should turn off if the code is entered correctly.
  4. Test the remote: After entering the code, try using the remote to control your television. Test functions like power on/off, volume, and channel buttons to see if they work correctly. If they do, the remote control is successfully linked to your television.
If you don't have success with the first code you find, try other codes for your TV brand. Sometimes, multiple codes are available, and you may need to try several before finding the correct one.
If the above steps don't work, it's possible that your remote control uses a different method for programming. In that case, try searching for the specific programming instructions for your remote control model online. Manufacturers often have manuals and programming guides available on their websites.
If all else fails, consider contacting the manufacturer of the remote control for assistance or purchasing a universal remote that can automatically search for the correct code for your television.

Program remote for tv

Hi, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. I came across your post today and wanted to see if I could help. In order to get your DISH remote to control your TV functions we would need the model number of your remote (should be on the back of the remote at the top usually a two to three digit number with a decimal point) and also the brand name of your TV. I would be happy to assist you further with addressing your remote to your TV if you would like to email me with this information at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you so that we can get this resolved for you as soon as possible. Thanks and have a great day!

Need code for my tv

Hi there,

I'm sorry but without the brand name and model number of your tv nobody will be able to identify what the correct code is as each brand of tv has numerous codes dedicated to it. This also the same for the remote control manufacturer's, they all have different codes for the same tv.

Regards,

James
