Hello,
With regards to your problem with the Rowe Ami 100 cd jukebox.
Do you have a manual, if not I suggest you buy a printer manual or one on CD and refer to the Programming and Installation section.
In order for the jukebox to know about the cd's that are installed in the jukebox it has to initialize all or the changed cd's that have been replaced within the jukebox.
Put the jukebox into the Service Mode (the service mode should appear on the display)
Type 3 to select the Initialize sub menu
Type 0 and full initialize will appear on the display
Press Popular to start the initialization
Place the jukebox service switch into the normal mode
Initiazation will take around 30 minutes to complete.

Hello,
The Rowe Ami R-82 jukebox is controlled by a number of electronic boards.
I would check the power supply in your jukebox it has four leds, these all need to be lit brightly.
The magazine motor voltage is 28 volts AC but is controlled by the mechanism control board 401-06905.
You need to send in the following boards for testing/repair:-
Memory Unit 301-07855
Mechanism Control Unit 401-06905
Selector Logic 601-08060
If your are in the USA I would contact Bruce Wentworth.

SOURCE: Hi' I have just got a rowe ami r-83 disco jukebox.
you need to check the Home signal to make sure the opto is activated at position 99. When the unit powers up the mechanism scans one complete cycle so it re-indexes the computer and starts scanning from position 00. If you want a quick test, turn the power off and scan the carousel to position 99 by releasing the latch on the left side of the mech just under and behind the mechanism motor. then power up the unit and it should pick the right selection. You can also observe the optic indicators on the mechanism control board under the turntable. The Home signal only operates at 99, the Index pulses between each record as it scans. Good Luck

I don't have a manual handy but it could be a few things, you may need to reinitialize the jukebox, maybe there is a dirty wiper or the control module may be on its way out. I would try to locate a repair manual for it, there might be an old vending company in your area with one.
