Scanner can't be found & not printing black color...

installed mf jet 450 all in one. Scanner can however not be found. Printing color no problem when using black cartridge letters not clear.

WizIf using windows, goto control panel from start button,double click on printers, if your printer is not listed, reinstall drivers from disc the printer came with. if it is listed, click once, then click on properties, select "drivers" look for "add new drivers" select this, and reload drivers from disc that came with printer.
If it still will not work, look in the printer maunufactor's website for downloads/updated drivers and FAQs....Hope it helps.
