Hi ,i just wanted to know if the intel g41rq motherboard is compatible with the gts250 nvidia graphic card? since the system is kicking me out from most of the games such as call of duty etc...

Yes, it will work, just at the rated speed of the PCI-e 16x slot.
And as long as you have a power supply capable of using the card.

Capacity Per lane:
PCIe v1.x (your motherboard ): 250 MB/s
PCIe v2.x:(nvidia gts250 card): 500 MB/s

And keep in mind:
- the onboard graphic card will be disabled when installing a pcie card.
- the onboard cared uses a vga connector and gtx250 uses dvi

I have a dell 280GX and would like to increase it's graphics. I installed fsx deluxe but get out of range from monitor. I have done all the basics (settings advance and refresh). What is the suggestion?

This is a graphics card issue. I suggest you try say an Nvidia GTS250 card. If you are pushing up the resolution too high you will get this mesage. Short-term fix, try lowering the resolution in the settings of your current graphics card. This should help.

I have been running Flight Simulator X on my computer without any problems but I have just loaded Service Packs 1 and 2 and now it is telling me that I dont have a good enough graphics card - the message...

With SP 1 and 2 loaded, the graphical ability rises significantly, hence the need for a good graphics card. FSX has to do a lot of hard number crunching to display properly. To get the best out of FSX you do need a good quality graphics card, like an NVidia GTS250 or similar, and have at least 512Mb on-board RAM.

Which gpu is better?

The video card is a joke, strictly for office use. Get a GTS 250 , it's an very upgraded form of 9600GT. 8800GT is far too old and weak for newer games.

Installed FSX & it worked fine yesterday. Tried to play it today & it says my graphics card doesn't meet minimum requirements. What gives?

Once you reboot or restart your system, FSX will run the checks that it didn't when you installed it hence the message. Upgrade your card and you will be okay. Suggest an Nvidia GTS250 if you want lighting fast graphics.

You are right, it is powered up. However, your sparkle
gts250 is not configured to work with your motherboard.
Obviously they are not compatible? But you can ask
the dealer where you buy your sparkle graphics card,
if they can make them work. You can send in your comments by email if we can give further assistance.

Suggest the best graphix card for an average gamer@ below 3000k

Well, first of all: With that monitor you won't need a very expensive graphics card, but in case you will want to upgrade to a higher resolution later I'll give some more high-end cards: Cheap cards first: The Radeon HD4850 is an ATi card that currently only costs $150 or something, if you look around a little on the internet. Nvidia's GTS250 costs about the same and is a little better. I would recommend buying this one, unless you're a huge ATi fan. Expensive: ATi HD4890; this one will cost you about $230, but it's the best ATi card out now, and it's damn fast. Nvidia has either the GTX280 at $250, which is better than a 4890, but also more expensive. Very expensive: I think you've got to be very stupid or very rich to buy these, since they'll be worth half of it next year, but here are they: Nvidia's GTX295, which is two Nvidia GTX260 GPU's on one card, in SLI mode for $450. Or its nemesis from ATi: the HD4870x2, for $365, which consists of 2 4870s on one card in CrossfireX. The 295 is about 15% faster, but almost 25% more expensive, so I'd pick the 4870x2, or wait for the 4890x2 to appear. I hope this is enough info for you, and I hope you can now make your choice.
