I don't know the answer but I understand an electric self-cleaning oven reaches such dangerous temperatures the door locks automatically for safety.

If your oven has that facility, I expect there is a fault.

Oven door remains locked after self clean cycle - but the oven has cooled

Number one Tip, NEVER use self cleaning cycles. They only exist to break ovens and sell parts.

Try disconnecting the mains after about 10 minutes of cool down time. If that doesn't work, you will need a service call to correctly diagnose if the lock solenoid has failed or you need a new control board.

Stopped f1 flashing and beeping by adjusting the lock feature to 12 o clock not oven and self cleaning not working at all

You have disabled the oven feature if you did adjust the door lock assembly. Interesting that the F1 stopped. notsure why myself.\
Usually the F1 feature does not go away unless you replace the electronic/control board.
I wonder what would happen if you set the door lock assembly to where it was before?

Started to self-clean, locked the door, etc. Had

Hi.

The appliance door is probably locked in consequence of the self cleaning cycle.

Unplug power cord, and allow the oven cooling down for few hours.

If the is still locked, then the high temperature generated in self cleaning cycle may have damaged the door latch, or the electronic control.

Parts must be tested to discover the fault.

Call Frigidaire at the number listed on the owners manual.

Regards.

Door locked after cancelling self clean option

Open the door. In the upper left corner, press and hold the door switch (the one that controls the inside light). Start a self clean cycle and wait for lock motor to engage. When the lock stops moving it should be in the unlocked position. Press cancel to stop the self clean.

If you need more assistance let me know.
Good luck!

1. Push CANCEL.
2. Once the oven has cooled down and the word "LOCKED" shown in the display has gone out, then the oven door can be opened.

Frigidaire self clean electric stove 'f9' message comes on when self cleaning

I had the same problem. All I had to do was clean around the door lock. A small bit of burnt food or something had gotten into the hole around the lock and prevented it from moving all the way into position. Took a tooth pick and 30 seconds of probing to clean it out. Works fine now.
