ok this is wat i suggest just update to 1.1.1 its same thing this is also 4 any1 that wants to unlock there iphone. download firmware 1.1.1 place it on your desktop connect your iphone 2 your pc. now hold the home button and the sleep button at the same time until u see the connect to ituners or usb and cd depending on what firmware you have this is restore mode. go to itunes it will say your iphone needs restoration hold shift click restore an window will open up 4 u to chose wat file ul be using for restore use the firmware 1.1.1 that i told u to download it will restore your iphone but will get and error at the end. dont worry after that open up ibriker and click on boot iphone and ul be at the activation screen

The user name and password that is asked for is the same one you set up in itunes when you appled for an account.. the user name is the e-mail address you used for the account and the password you associated with it so if you have not done so set up an account with itunes first.
If you have already got said account then double check to make sure you are entering the correct password the e-mail you used should be already visible in the dialogue box that has popped up asking for the password

I had the same problem when i jail broke went through and fixed. Here is the Soulution to your proplem when you jailbreak your iphone it does a disable to your app store applications. you have to hold the icons to get them tot jiggle delet each one that you can and redownload they will work just fine after that.
