Yeah pretty sure that's the model number. I bought a cord that fits into the cd changer input and on the other side fits in the bottom of my iphone or has a headphone jack. I also tried with an ipod and it didn't work. Nothing happened when I hit the cd changer button

According to the manual, there is no i-phone input hookup. Are you sure on the model number?

I have a jvc-x11 cd changer is it compatible with my sony MEX-BT39UW

No, it won't work. JVC changers work with JVC head units, Sony head units work with Sony changers. Even if the plugs are the same, it won't work.

How can I hook up an auxiliary wire to play my IPhone on the JVC KD-AR5000

After looking up your unit's info, I found that the aux input is on the rear of the unit. Pull the unit from the dash, being careful not to disconnect any wires (sometimes the antenna adapter wire is too short and must be disconnected to work behind the unit. Just don't forget to reconnect it before putting the unit back in place). Plug one end of a 3.5mm aux cable into the aux input on the rear of the unit and feed the other end thru the hole where the unit sits in the dash and out the side of the center of the dash to either the driver or passenger footwell. Replace the head unit and GENTLY pull the rest of the slack out of the aux cable but not so hard that you disconnect it from the head unit. You can tuck any excess aux cable up under the side of the console where the plastic meets the carpet, & if you wanted to get really fancy, you could drill a slot in the storage area of the console big enough to fit the cable, but small enough so the end doesn't fall through so you could plug your phone in and hide it all in the console out of sight. Then just switch the source on the unit to aux and enjoy!

Hey guys, I've just installed a CD changer in my car - having some difficulties getting it to work. After some Googling I came across this forum so I figured I'd see if any of you guys know where I'm...

there should be a small connector on the changer itself for the power ground and remote wire for power to the changer unit. the cord coming from the unit to the changer doesn't supply this power and this is why it wont eject and also your head unit wont recognize it until it gets powered up and able to communicate with the head unit and then it will show up as a selectable source when switching between sources of music. check the back of the changer for a small connector containing 3 or 4 pins and you should have a connector with the corresponding wires coming from it to plug into this spot after connecting the wires properly. if you bought it on ebay it is possible you didn't get this piece which is critical when connecting this changer.

How do I connect my Ipod to a JVC KD-G230?

The cord you are using is an audio cable with a 3.5mm plug with two black bands on the plug. The JVC Source button has to be pressed until AUX shows in the display. The volume on the iPod AND the volume on the deck affect the sound - turn the iPod up to 70% volume for best results.

I have a jvc kd ar 370 - where do i hook up my mp3 player

CLICK HERE for your instruction manual.

This radio does not have an Aux Input for your MP3 Player.
The only way it will play MP3s are ones that are burned to a CD, or via a FM Modulator.
You will need the KSU-58 changer adapter cable in order to plug in a standard MP3 player's earphone jack. (as noted on the Installation manual HERE) - bottom of page #4
