I have had my ps3 for 2 weeks when i try to load the games, dvd it's says it's loading at the top of the screen but nothing happens.
I've tried leaving it for a few hours even though i had only just turned it on.
i have also tried using a different game, dvd has anyone got any idea what is wrong?

Can anyone tell me how i get this patch to fix ps3, Do i buy it or down load it? My kids are driving me mad!!

Dad bought a Sony PS3 - 60 GB Hard disk for me - I played several games - Carbon, Harry Potter, Uncharted Drake's Fortune. But for past 3 days, when I insert any one of these games, the Loading sign is shown but BD ROM symbol does not appear.

i have the same problem right now on 1/25/08 i was playing madden and it froze, so i turned it off and restarted the system now it wont load anything up but i can still go on the internet

YES IVE HAD SQAME PROBLEM. I SPOKE TO SONY TODAY ABD THEY SAY A PATCH IS COMING OUT THIS TUESDAY TO FIX IT. IT IS A COMMON FAULT AND IT IS HAPPENING TO THOUSANDS OF PS3'S. SO ROLL ON TUES 8TH OF JAN. HOPE THIS HELPS A FEW PEOPLE

i insert a disc the loading symbol appears on the top right yet they is no progress. Nothing is ever displayed despite it showing the loading symbol can any one help

Theyre bringing out a patch to fix it tomorrow apparently... I don't know wether to laugh or cry...paid like 350 when they first came out from Japan and now the UK sony won't replace it or even order me a new one from Japan because it's nothing to do with them???? FFS

ts a problem with the latest download update. sorry to say but its a job for sony as long as its still under warranty. just phone them up explain the probs your having and they will send you a new (normally reconditioned) unit out. sony's replacement service is very good.
