My printer won't copy? Help! - PRINTER Office Equipment & Supplies

please check that all the door switches have been made and the front cover closes properly. Also ensure that your toner box unit is properly inserted.

If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

@ Other computers might be beyond the range of wi fi limits, run the CD in other computers ask to detect.. if not detected suspect out range.Check obstructions of walls, beams, magnetic fields.
@ If printer is not scanning check whether copy happening or not, if copy is happening uninstall the drivers and reload it once again, if copy not happening check scanner unit warming up or not.

The numbers of copies your laptop print out is set in your printer software.
You did probably forget to change the numbers to 1 (one copy).

If you use normal print paper for photos, it will almost always make horizontal lines.
Use photo print paper instead, then it won't happen.

It could also be that your print cartridges need a nozzle cleaning.
Normally your printer software has a mode to this.

Try this approach:

1. On the printer operator panel, on Copy mode, press Options.
2. Select Maintenance.
3. Select Clean Cartridges

Your printer will then print a test page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them.
Try to print your document again to verify that Copying is properly functioning now.

be sure that you remove the tape from the cartridges before you insert it in the printer, it has a color pink attach to the tape remove it slowly then insert the cartridge to the printer,

THE SCANNER WON'T SCAN.

check for debris or paper fragments!!!!

please answer these questions to understand issue better 1)Is it connected with usb or network
2)Are you able to make copies

I just called Brothers product support and found out that these machines WILL NOT scan or copy or do anything until the ink cartridges have been replaced. So there is no other solution.
