I took the wires of the thermostat and heating coil and cannot remember how they go back on. I need a wiring diagram to put them back on properly

if you look at the connectors the wires that connect to the heater are larger and the wire is thicker,it doesn't matter what wire goes where on them, also the heater wires should be red and the other is red with a white stripe and like i said it doesn't matter what post on the heating element the wire with the stripe or the solid red wire connects to.the same with the thermostat

Replacing a pull chain 3-way ceiling fan light switch

OK .. the thick black and white are the power for the fan , are there also white wires on the lamp sockets ..??
The thick black wire should connect to the black wire on the switch.
The small black wires connect to the red and blue wire on the switch .. two small black wires each .. that should give you a position for 2 lights , and 4 lights, on the step switch .. but there should be white wires from the lamp sockets connected to the thick white from the fan .

please respond .

The wall switch that I am replacing, with a 3-way dimmer switch, has 2 black wires, 2 red wires and a green wire. The new 3-way dimmer switch has 2 red wires, 1 black wire and 1 green wire. Question: How...

Ok the RED is Phase and the Black is Neutral... Green is Earth. you have an IN, Red wire, and an OUT Red wire, the rest just go color to color. So in the socket, one Red wire goes to one Red wire from the dimmer, the other Red wire in the socket, goes to the other Red from the dimmer, then Black to Black, and Green to Green. Be careful do NOT work on it live.

Which are the 12v wires on my car?i have a 1994 volvo 850 and am lost on where to start wiring my new radio wich wires go the power and wich goes to the speakers?

All the qires on your vehicle are 12volt.
Be careful on that. Seakers don't take voltage.
The red wire is normally the power wire to the radio, it is also bigger than the speaker wires. The Black wire is normally the ground for the radio and is also thicker and must be screwed to something on the dash board that is metal and a good ground Now all that is left are the speaker wires and you just match them to the ones you want.
