it most likely is the heating element or a burnt wire on the element. there is two phillips screws on the lower end of the front panel. the heating element is on the right hand side of the dryer look at it front on. it is in a metal casing. look for a burnt wire going to the casing. if no burnt wire. do a continuity test of the element. it should not be open or grounded. you can also take it out and look inside to see if you can see if it is broken somewheres. if it is you can get them re strung if you take the whole casing into a service depot.

sounds like a thermal fuse problem!

this failure’s usually not the thermal fuse’s fault, but the real cause lies in a partially (or completely) clogged dryer vent system. In those cases, the thermal fuse is just doing the job it was designed for.

that is what duct tape is for....Just kidding, sounds like something came loose or bent. Have you investigated those options?

Pull the light until you resolve the matter

If you remove the front cover and access the blower fan and see if it is still tight on the shaft. if it isn't it makes a rumble sound when started due to vibrating and after a while it makes more noise as it goes. Now I removed the fan and placed a shim in the flat area and matched the flat area of the shaft and replace it back on the shaft and it should solve it.
