Most flat screen TVs only have a digital coax output to an amp, so your amp needs a digital coax input as well.

SOURCE: JVC stereo receiver WILL NOT PLAY A CD. WHEN A CD IS IN PLAYER

HI. this will occur when the optical lens assembly has failed. The lens is probably burned out or, the spin motor has failed.

replacing the optical lens assembly will restore proper reading functions.

Can I hook my phone to my jvc KD-s23

yes, if your Jvc has a Bluetooth capabilities. You can ask a vendor that sells phone to car stereo receiver. By the way, I will not trust a phone to car stereo cable connector. Most of them doesn't work

How can I hook my jvc 1024v receiver to my rca flat screen TV. It's a very old receiver but I think it can be done. I want to hear my through this system.

Probably pretty easy. On back of TV see if there are RCA AUDIO OUT plugs. One likely is red, one white. Run a RCA cable from those to your AUDIO/AUX IN connectors on the receiver ( Be sure to turn off the internal speakers on the TV. More info here:

How to get sound to tv from JVC TH-M606 without sub woofer. Also trying to put in progressive mode without remote

Hi,
  • If I understand your question correctly you want to listen your TV on your Stereo system thru your receiver,JVC TH-M606 ** you need to connect "Audio Output " RCA jacks or "Optic cable output" of your TV
** to "AUX input " or "TV" OR "Any input" of your receiver ( except Phone ) or "Optic Cable input"
** than just switch to respective mode on
JVC TH-M606 RECEIVER corresponding your RCA or Optic connection...
There you go..Your TV sound is on the
JVC TH-M606 Receiver..By this means whatever you watch on the TV (tuner, satellite , Xbox ) ,it's sound will come thru your stereo..

  • If you want to listen your receiver thru your TV, sorry but it is not a preferable attempt since TV sound system is not a HI-FI quality compare to your nice Receiver..if you really want to do it,try to do the connections given above in reverse..
  • And,best of my knowledge I am afraid you can not put in progressive mode without remote

  • Hope this helps!

Getting stereo speakers to work with flat panel tv

if you hook the low-level audio-out from the tv to an input to the stereo unit, whatever you play on tv will send audio to surround/stereo reciever unit. look on back of tv for red &white AUDIO OUTPUT terminals. plug red/white audio cables from tv to the back of your stereo & plug into audio input of an open source on stereo (tv/video,aux. in,etc.) good luck!

Connections

You will need a Digital Optical cable to hook it to the JVC. You should use a Component video cable to hook it to the TV.

Need help hooking up to digital cable box, and tv

If the cable box isn't transmitting surround sound your stereo won't play it. You may be able to emulate it with settings on the receiver.
