First clean (really clean it well!) both the seal and the door/cabinet edge to allow for the magnetic seal to properly seal against the door. If that doesn't help, you may have to get the seal to relax by using a hair dryer to warm up the seal so it relaxes and goes back into shape.

Also check to see if the seal is cracked or torn, as that could be preventing a proper seal also. If that's the case, you might have to get a new door seal and replace it.

Normally, I find that most door seals are just really dirty and have been pinched (for years) causing them to lose their shape and by taking some time to relax the seal and get it back like it should be, helps resolve the problem.

Another issue could be that the bottom hinge pin bracket has lossened up and is allowing the bottom of the door to not fully engage with the cabinet section. This wil require you to readjust the hinge pin to make sure it is both level and in the correct position. Please consult your owner/installation manual for the proper sequence - it's pretty easy to do, just follow the maker's recommendations.

Ice forming in the bottom of the freezer. eventually melting and ending with water running on the floor from both corners of freezer

Check the seal on the door and make sure it is "sound". Pay particular attention to the bottom or underside of the freezer door / drawer. Make sure nothing is preventing a seal between the fridge case and door. Misfigured, distorted or otherwise damaged seals can cause frost build up as you describe. Clear any objects / replace damaged seals found.

Good luck!

Frost free freezer with ice in the bottom and water dipping off bottom door hinge

Frost Free Freezer have an automatic defrost, which is essentially a heating element which melts any ice. If your door seals are in poor condition or something is preventing the door from sealing the ambient air may be melting the ice more than the drain can accommodate. Check the drain in the bottom of the freezer. Humidity can also cause more water to accumulate, especially if the door seals are not sealing.

Kenmore upright freezer not cold enough to freeze

Sounds like a door seal that isn't sealing all the way around. That would be my first replacement. Is the unit level back to front and side to side? Is it really full of food?

Call your local appliance parts house and get a magnetic door seal first. They aren't that expensive. But make sure you do not have the freezer overloaded, which could account for the lack of that vacuum sound.

Finally, is self defost? Even if it is, a lot of times the vent on the bottom in the back gets packed with ice. If it is, remove the food and use a hairdryer, being carefull to unplug the freezer first. Melt all that ice and empty your overflow tray at the bottom underneath.

Good luck!

Lower door wont stay closed

I doubt it. The problem is probably that the unit is on an uneven or unlevel floor. Make sure all 4 corners are 'solid' and the unit is level. Is the door overloaded? Any hinge damage to either door or loose hardware?

Fridge bottom has water under vegetable drawers

Make sure the door is closing properly, that nothing is trapped in the door seal, and that the seal isn't torn or distorted. The seals are there to stop moist external air getting in then dropping its load of moisture as it cools. A.
