Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer
All of a suddent the 7310 stopped printing magenta. It says it's aligned right and cartridges are cleaned. There's absolutely no magenta response whatsoever yet no error messages from the printer. This happened all of a sudden.
Either you are out of magenta ink or your cartridge is dirty. Just because you've run a cleaning job doesn't mean the printer will fix the problem. The best thing to do is take your cartridge out and use a paper towel to gently clean the head (where the ink comes out). Once you wipe away the gunk you should still get the three colors on each pass of the paper towel over the head. If you only get two colors (yellow and cyan) then your magenta is empty or dried out (happens with ink cartridges used past their expiration date). The only thing you can do then is get a new in cartridge.
