How to get line off of computer screen

If you are lucky, it's just a bad connection between the display panel and its controller board. To fix it, you would have to disassemble the display to the point where you can gently massage the connection on the panel or on the controller board attached to the back of the panel. It is possible there is a failure on the display controller board or on the LCD itself. If that is the case, you probably need a new display panel. If the unit is under warranty, this is a warranty service item.

How to replace control board

You just need a screw driver to install the display control panel.
To install the part, do the following:
Turn off the unit and unplug it.
You need to remove the screws on the back of the unit and remove the back. It slides up. Then slide the sides toward the back. You need to remove the side without the water canister. The side with the water canister just needs to be slid back enough to reveal the screws at the top front of the unit holding the display. Remove those screws on both sides and gently pull the top front display cover off. There is a long ribbon (similar to one found on a hard drive in a computer, which is exactly what this is) with a clip that attaches to the main control panel on the left side of the unit. Remove that (noting how and where it attaches - I mark everything), take apart the inside of the front panel to reveal the display board, remove and replace it along with the water tight seal. Plug the new display into the control board, reattach the top front panel to the body of the machine, reinstall the water container, plug it in and turn it on to see if it works. Mine did and so I reinstalled the sides - they just slide forward, then I reattached the back and the machine was good to go.
Hope these instructions help.

DISPLAY NOT WORKING, BUT OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE IS FINE

You can order the part from appliancefactoryparts.com

You need to replace the entire control board. The display is built into it, but it is easy to replace.

Error 68.2 on HP laserjet P4015n

If you are unable to solve this problem using above mention solutions then you can try this one. Open all covers and then detach the DC controller board that is shown In picture below. it is the back side of DC controller board.
15ce228f-ce7e-40ab-9434-7263daab7fc0.jpg

With this DC controller board you can see another small circuit bard that is attached with DC controller board with a white (ribbon) cable. I found two printers with this error when I examine the board I found that the thin print wires are broken as shown in the following picture. I have to connect these wires with soldering and now it is working fine.

If these printed wires are ok then you can check the ribbon cable .check all connectivity with Multimeter.
First you solve this problem with software.
Then try to find disconnected wires or dry soldering on circuit board.
Last you change the Dc controller board because the problem is in surly in DC controller board.

Lcd quit working after only two loads of clothes. Power button comes on and chimes, wash light comes on. Nothing else works. How do you fix it?

replace the board on unit.... if you have already unplugged for a few minutes and tried to reconnect you may have a bad pc board on unit/display////// lg is notorious for molex plugs or connections that could be a issue depending on how old unit is.... if you go to back of unit there are 2 maybe three screws to remove the top of cover by pushing top to rear of unit... then inside you should see control boards and all... you can also remove a screw on each side of display panel and pop display/touch pad off and check connections under it.... if all looks good i would say got a bad control board.....

On my Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator, the display on the left door reads ErCo and the ice maker does not work . Its less than 2 years old

The Er Co error code signifies a communication error between the display control board on the freezer door and the main power board on the outer back panel of the refrigerator.

Check the wiring and connections between the low voltage interface and the main high voltage board.

If you are able to unplug the refrigerator and remove the cover over the control board on the back of the refrigerator,
you can check the wiring connection on the main control board.

If this wiring connection is okay, check the wire harness connection under the hinge cover on the top of the left hand refrigerator door.
If these connections are okay, then you will need access the wire harness connection in the dispenser.

Help me immediately, please

Actually, the "kit" is a DIMM that plugs into the controller on the right side of the copier (when looking at it from the back of copier) On this model, you need to add 64mb of RAM if you want to add functionality to print and scan, along with the DIMM. Yes, there are 2 different DIMM's for this,....one is Print and one is Print/Scan.
PS: there is a kit to install said items that includes buttons for the controll panel and DIMM, however, the memory is separate (laptop memory or SO DIMM)
