That's the question of the month. They can send when they want and can also tell you it's due on receipt. So, the only option you have is that the postage / email date is later than the due date - then you can prove they didn't send on time

My bill was due every month on the 25 I missed a payment and pay my bill on the 1st of the month so now they got me paying my phone on the 1st and that's not my due date

U can always pay ahead of time. Only thing you have no control over is if the vendor changes the payment due date. So u have to be vigilant lest you incur late payment charges if date is changed to earlier date.
