You need to get some decent rechargeable batteries unfortunately standard batteries are just not good enough and lose their charge very quickly not to mention end up costing you a small fortune to replace.

I recommend NiMH 2500mah recharageable batteries or better (i use Energizer). Makes sure you have another 2 sets full charged and ready to go so you dont get caught out when out and about.

If this helps, please vote...thanks and good luck!

My Kodak easy share m583 is start hanging after taking 50 shorts plz give any solution

Do you mean you can shoot 50 pictures and then the camera stops and shuts down?
If you are shooting constantly that is not bad. But if the battery is empty after 50 shots and you have to charge it every time you took 50 shots the battery needs a replacement. If you mean he camera does not switch off after 50 shots, but does not do anything you won't that is bad.
The battery should be able to make 200 pictures when fully charged. That can vary, depending on lots of things, like how many time between the shots, temperature, using flash, lots of viewing photo's or video on the camera. When the camera just shuts down after about 50 pictures, you should buy a second (and perhaps a thirty) battery.

I have a kodak easy share c190. i cant get it to down load pics from camera to comp.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Get a separate card reader and use it to download your pics to your computer. Then, format the card in the camera. 6153108.jpg

Battery life of kodak easy share is 2 pictures ... if that

Please check what type of batteries are these.
Z1085 will only work with LITHIUM AA's, Lithium CRV3 (you have to make sure it's not Ni-mh crv3) and a rechargeable KLIC 8000 Lithium-ion battery pack (the blue one). It will not work with any other type of rechargeable battery but KLIC 8000. If you're trying to use ni-mh rechargeables, it will really not work.

Kodak Z1085 IS - drains battery even when camera is not on

the camera takes 1.5v to operate it
anything less the camera will shut down
recharge batteries are only 1.4v so at full
recharge it won't last long
The best batteries are litheum that have the right
volts and capacity to keep the camera going.
try turning or the camera stablizer setting...
might save your battery power.

Kodak easy share z612 will not turn on to take a picture

When the battery dies, usually the camera will retract the lens if possible. If the battery is so dead the lens can not retract, I would recommend trying to charge or change the battery. Or try to turn the camera on, and then manually shutting it off if you can.

Are you using alkaline batteries? The Easy Share hates alkaline batteries. Try NiCad or Lithium.
