Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera
Not sure this qualifies as a solution; LCD screens are sensitive to high heat, so if the camera was, let's suppose, left in a hot car, the LCD might literally be cooked. This may not effect the ability to take photos, as that is a different, but linked, process. The "solution" would then be to take the camera to be repaired with a new LCD screen.
On the other hand, if the batteries depleted enough to burst, then other electronics may have gone, as well.
