Can another smart tv interfere with mine? IF SO, how can we lock it so this does not happen again?

Please start by power cycling your tv and checking whether the tv buttons work afterwards. If not, the you would need to factory reset the tv prior to having normal access to it again.

There is a post about this issue on the AVI blog. There are several people that have had the issue. No one claims a fix for it though. Seems to be related to HDMI cables and how close they are to the remote extender runs.

You should make sure you have an active internet connection and that the tv is in a spot that is not receiving interference. Are you able to select any apps? what do the say when you try and use them? Did anything happen prior to the apps not working?

Fault at its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

You're TV is not linked to the internet.
You need to pair up your blue tooth to the wi-fi or
make sure your ethernet cable is connected or needs replacing.

I had the same problem right up until the HDMI stopped working altogether. I had to use the ''component'' cables instead. The problem in my case is a bad HDMI socket (circuit board). The word ''randomly'' caught my attention. That's exactly how it happened with mine.

if you hooked up a computer then you are watching a local tv station the video will be affected. their will be an interference on the signal. you must disconnect the cable going to the computer first.

The continuously auto locking was happening for me because the extended deadbolt lock was hitting the back of the drilled frame. So when it locked it did not fully extend and it thought it was not locked and would try again every 30secs.

The fix was to be sure your hole is deep enough for the locked dead bolt to sit into without hitting anything.
