Depending on your windows operating systems of you might need to go to their web site and download driver to run your device both drivers are under the support section I have the link for the software you need to download to make you can run the unrecognized message means that your computer does not have the proper drivers to run the device here is the URL all you have to do select your operating system,en?|downloads||dd a quick tip if 32 bit download doesn't work or your computer doesn't understand the file try the 64 bit

ok if you go to your control panel and look for something that says device manger look for your cam. download the driver but don't run just save it on your desktop then in device manger right click on your cam if the device is not working it usually has a yellow triangle next to it from there after right clicking on the cam say properties then say update driver from there give it the file you saved on your desktop if this doesn't work in the same driver menu instead of updating it un install it then use the just open the file on your desktop if and questions please feel free to ask.

Computer not recognizing web camera

The only other thing that I would suggest you try to do is (if possible) goto another PC or maybe a friends PC and plug the web cam in. If it does the same thing then the web cam no longer works. If it does work, then you may want to try another USB port on your PC.

Logitech camera plugged in but still can't recognise device. It always says device not pluged in.

please, note if the USB drivers for logitech were installed when the rest of software was. only as that the motherboard will recognize the webcam.

in the logitech's webcam cd, you'll see a chapter with only USB DRIVERS. if not, you can find them in
it's free registration and easy to use site.
