I shot video with an Equinox HD 8 and a Sony FX7 in an indoor swimming pool with lights above it and it was heated. My video came out grainy. It should be crystal clear HD video. Will I have better...

You may already know this but I will give you a bit of background first.

What causes grain in video is called "gain" Essentially it increses the charge on your sensor to allow more light to be recoded.

To eliminate this turn off auto gain on your camera and set your gain to 0db.

Ensure your iris is fully open.

If your exposure in the pool is too dark then you will have to increase your gain. However in my experience when you get into the lake/ocean you will have more than enough light.

the fx7 is a good camera and you are correct it should be crystal clear. Play with your settings out of the pool and get used to how all the setting work.

Hope that helps

It says "turn the camera off, and on again"

You can try to pull and push on the lens as it starts to see if you can "snap" the lens on track again. More than likely that is what has happened as a result of an impact of some sort. Mostly that is what happened. Be advised that you could damage the camera even more, but it may be worth a try since it is not working anyway.

Cant gain access to the management URL for wireless router

you can do all over again...look for the reset button (hole) at the back. You might need a paper clip or a pointed one to push it. Hold it for about ten seconds and it resets to factory default.

Install the Cisco Clean Access Agent software on your laptop. Contact your server administrator for the appropriate download for your operating system.

DSC N2 :The switch off switch on and "Accessing" message with the beeping was so annoying. As the lens came out, I held it in place and turned the camera off, I could feel the motoor pulling (three times ) and gently resisted the retraction. the camera turned off with the lens out. When I turned it on the problem was resolved (hopefully permanently). €z
