You can repair MS Office through the Uninstall menu of the Control Panel in Windows. Rather than uninstalling, you select repair. If you did not have MS Word installed, indeed did not have MS Office installed upon your computer, you may have been accessing the online version and simply lost the link to the online version. To use that online version, you must have a Microsoft Account, which you can set up for free. With OneDrive, you could save some of your work in the Cloud.

Sometimes a corruption can occur and components such as MS Word can vanish from your menu. That gets to be a bit tedious to fix and I have been known to work around it by making a short cut to the exe file and pasting it in a menu. That is really not a fix. You could try to use a system restore point to a day when you know it was present and working. That would not lose any writings but it would remove programs since installed. And you would have to update your antiviral definitions and any patches since that time.

If it is currently on your computer just lost, you could install a freeware program called Everything. Run it then type in word.exe. There it will be. That is what allowed my "not a fix but work around." But try the other suggestion first.

I need a 25-character product for microsoft 2007

Yes you do. Suggest use Magic JellyBean Keyfinder, and find the original product key code for the MS Office 2007 that was installed on your computer,

http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

Be aware that what you have may be a trial version. Expires after 30(?) days.

It is illegal to post a product key for MS Office. (Because in essence you would be stealing the software if you got a product key, illegally)

The product key code is installed on your computer, when MS Office is installed. What really happens is a hash value is assigned to your computer, that matches that product key.

It can't be duplicated,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_value

I would suggest you use OpenOffice instead.

1) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice on it.

2) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

3) IMHO there is No learning curve. The user interface is VERY similar to MS Office.

4) IT IS FREE

It is Open Source software.

The product key doesn't work

Buy Microsoft Word, or Microsoft Office.

You had a trial version, and it's trial time is Over.

Me?
I kicked MS Office to the curb years ago. A LOT of people have.
Going to sound like a salesman, but I don't care.

I use OpenOffice.

B) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office on it, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice.

C) The user interface is VERY similar to MS Office.
There is no 'learning curve'.

D) IT IS FREE.
That is because it is open source software. A better way to say it's FREE.

Writer is Word.

You cannot get MS for free.
Download OpenOffice, it is far better than Microsoft, it contains a PDF writer for free!! You will never need Microsoft again, I promise.

Super multi dvd writer gsa-h55n

Well, since I received a solution from MAXTRIXKHAN, I just wanted to check back with NCIX.com, and here is a recap of what I did, and what they told me...

After a few tries, I had to contact LG Customer service.
I tried to burn to...

-Maxell CD-R, no problems,
-TDK DVD-RW, no problems,
-Verbatim DVD+R, Computer hangs.

Well, I bought this DVD-Writer to replace my old GSA-4167B, and LG customer service told me that this DVD-Writer does not support the Verbatim DVDs.

So, if you have plenty of Verbatim DVDs, you should forget about this writer.

Supported DVDs...
Maxell, Sony, TDK

Will have to send it back to NCIX

So beware
