Question about Computers & Internet

Magicjack not accepting my password

I can't get rid of the new screen that is asking for my password to verify my account. I have tried to reset the password and I get no email from magicjack to do the reset of the password. So, now I cannot receive any phone calls to my magicjack. When called it goes directly to my voicemail.

When did magicjack switch to this verification and why? Their lack of support is unbelievable.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I need to update and change my email address and password from my magicjack plus from 3 years old.

All you can do is log in as a new account and ask to change the phone number. There will be a charge for this.

The email address is linked to the phone number and is required to give access to your account.

How can i reset my magicjack it keeps telling me that is not on that divice.

If you have bought t from someone else it will not work as it is not registered to your computer.

You need to change the account details and then re-plug the magicjack into the USB again and it will download the new details.

You need the phone number and the password from the previous owner.

Then you can change the email address it is registered to and the password to your details.

Type your password into the box and click Sign In. The Account Information page appears
From the account info menu, select change password
Type your current password in the first box. Type your new password in the second box.
Passwords are case sensitive and must be at least six characters long. Confirm your New Password by typing it again in the third box. Click Save. Your password has been changed.
