SOURCE: Engine won't start. Dash lights flash rapidly when key turned.

the battery says 12 volts but may be dropping to 4 or 5 under a load...i would suggest jumpstarting the car and see what happens.the battery should read in the high 12 volts and not less than 9.5 under cranking. the dash lights go out on your car when starting, and the alarm will go off ,and disable the ignition if the voltage is too low in cranking the car because the computer will shut it down and activate the anti theft.....check your battery posts are tight. best of luck

SOURCE: 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante is overheating. Oil

the symptoms are that you have a burnt head gasket, its consuming the water into the cylinders and at the same time it builds combustion pressure in the cooling system causing it to overheat, and when it overheats it makes the oil loose viscosity so you loose oil pressure, i recommend not driving the car any more and the first solution is to replace the burnt gasket, and change your oil, go to a local shop and only do these they probably tell you the engine is worn but the problem is what i told you above, make them replace the thermostat unit yes to be sure good luck

SOURCE: 95 honda accord turns over but wont start

Sometimes when a fuel filter is stopped up,and you change it,the fuel pump later, will go out, cause of the strain on the pump.

2008 Mercury Mountaineer electrical issues

This is a devious problem which could lie anywhere. So many things not functioning would perhaps be a ground problem. Maybe take some extra care in cleaning the battery terminals, check if the ground wire is connected to the chassis. Do you have rodents in your area? Maybe they nibbled some wire somewhere?

Something is draining my battery 134,000 M

IT costs nothing to have a load test done on the battery to check for a dead cell which your problems point to. While the engine is running the alternator will be handling the power requirement but the battery will not supply the power required to start.

3 days ago, i went to work no problem, had to move it after 6-7 hrs of time, would not turn on 2 try's, started like normal on 3rd. 2 days ago i drove it locally a couple of times, no problems. today...

I ran into the problem and it was corrosion on the battery terminals. on the inside against the battery. also check the the terminals for good connection.

Had a problem new yrs eve. Drove home fine got in the drive and turned the key off the lights went off in the dash but the truck didn't shut off. Pulled the ignition fuse to shut off. Today truck started...

Sounds as if dimmer slider/switch is going to ground on this model the headlight switch should have a dimmer thumbwheel, if it is all the way up and then you feel the indent and that should turn the inside domelamp on, if it does not the switch is bad. also check your vanity mirror covers, sometimes the little pins that shot off the light when you close the mirror covers stick open and run your battery down over night or in a few hours. Charge battery and then check these lights first, depress white pins to shut off.

Check battery terminals make sure they are not corroded and that the are tightly secured. If all is good the battery is at fault. Replace battery and then have charging system checked to make sure the alternator is working fine. Or you can remove the battery and have it load tested a t an Auto_zone for free.
