I have a NEC Dterm 80 phone system in our office. Not all phones will ring when there is an incoming call, and I want to set them ALL so that they will.

Dterm 80 works on several systems, would be helpful if you mention what system you have. Programming lines directly onto a phone is done in system programming, not really something you can do yourself. If your IT person has the programming software, great. Very rare someone on site is tasked with knowing the phone system at that level, because it gets deep quick, and your working on the whole thing, not just one phone.
.. I don't have a solution, I need a solution.
NEC Dterm Series I, through internal calls my phone flashes notifying me that I have a call coming through but it doesnt ring. I have tried the volume key ^, that didn't work. Can anyone help me?
It has been my experience with these office phones, that you need to change the volume while somone is calling or while the phone is ringing. Try that, have someone buzz the phone, then while it is ringing, click the volume button up or down.
The feature has to be allowed in class of service. you must than hit transfer, dial a 9 than the full number. you need to know how to program the phone system to change class of service. ldtsnj.com
During an incoming call try holding the up arrow on the volume key. That is the only way I know to increase or decrease the volume of the ring. The phone might also be set on DND. in which case you have to Press feature dial the DND cancel code 69 press feature. Call your phone from another phone. Don't answer it. Press you volume up/down button. Up makes the ring louder and down makes the ring softer. I bet someone turned you ring volume down. Once it is set it stays there. God Bless. Jerry
