SOURCE: 3 redlights aka ring of death
HI there, This is usually caused by the system over heating. What happens is the Graphics Processing unit, Central processing unit, Produce to much heat and warp the motherboard causing the Lead free solder to crack/break looking there connections. If you're still under the 3-year warranty please contact microsoft for Repairs... Things to keep in mind with the 360 console would be... Console has to be kept in an open area with good air flow and not on carpet or in a place that will slow ventilation (inclosed entertainment centers). Power supply also needs good air flow and vents should be kept clean of dust. I hope this helps and good luck

Make sure that you have the correct space between the motherboard and the heatsink, are both the nylon and steel washers still in place.
when you screw the motherboard to the chassis, tighten all the screws, then un-tighten each screw by one full turn,if that dont work, un-tighten each one by half a turn until it does, this is because you might be making the motherboard bow, it needs to be flat.
Dont forget thumbs up if this works.
