Main vacuum suction won't turn off (by 2 users)

When I put the vacuum handle in the upright position, the main vacuum suction will not switch over to the hose attatchments. If I pull out the hose to use the attatchments, dust come flying out of the main suction hose. HELP

I have the same problem Post a new problem

try cleaning out hoses,if that dont work turn it on its side if the roller doesnt spin u need to change belt if it does take the bottom cover and try cleaning out the hole under roller
