Why does my Senco SN 901 XP frame nailers driver stay forward?

not sure what powers the senco if it works on combustion or air could be damage O rings. Another possibility is a trapped nail under the blade. Have seen where a nail has not been driven out of the magazine but has bent and points down the magazine close to end of gun. What happens is the blade drives over the nail but becomes trapped between nail and roof of the nose assy. Probably need to strip the gun a little.

My senco frame nail gun isn`t working

First get an exploded view of gun and parts list and numbers from senco.com,,take nail gun apart,,,take a good look at the rubber bumper stop to see if it is broken,,look at the driver nut to see if it is tight,,,,you can go to juldan.com once you have gotten a list of the worn parts,,,juldan sells complete o ring kits along with nearly all parts needed for your repair

How do I adjust the depth of the nails? I have the Senco FramePro 601.

Most senco nailers have an adjustment on the lower safety. Usually one or two screws allow foot to extend. Others framers have a thumb wheel on the side or under the trigger. If the adjustment is all the way out and the nail is still setting too deep, then fault may be with the lower bumper. If the bumper is breaking up, the driver will set the nail too deep. Remove head and pull the piston, if the bumper is missing pieces or cracked, replace. Good luck

Senco 601 nailer shoots 2 nails each time the trigger is pulled.

the 601 had a design flaw, in the nose, where the nails hit as the are being pushed forward, the peice was made out of a peice of metal that was too soft, it wore down and that is where you get the double nail problem.

Senco offered a trade in, this was years ago, for a limited time and gave us credit towards new guns, which we gladly did

SENCO COIL ROOFING GUN DOESNT ADVANCE NAILS EVERY THRID OR FOURTH NAIL DOESNT ADVANCE

Clean the track and piston by removing nail tray (there are a couple of allen screws)and removing the gunk from the nail tape and if you have been shooting something glued that to. Remove head assembly and thoroughly clean and oil that also. that should fix you right up I have a couple of these guns and that is typical.
If that is no the problem rebuild the gun it is worth it as they are a great air gun
Hope this helped

What air pressure are you using? Try uping that, past 90 to about 105-110 max. What size air hose are you using? 1/4" is to small, need at least 3/8".

SENCO MODEL-IV how to set nail depth

I went to the Senco site and they don't list the model IV. I would suggest that you go to Senco.com and type in your model number and you can download a manual for all their tools. They didn't really have that many tools that you could set the depth on from what I can remember.

Problem accessing nails

Hi, No you can't. They are two different feeds. The F33 uses tape feed and the N79 uses stick feed. The N79 is a basic wood frame nailer that uses 3 to 3 1/4 sticks, while the F33 uses up to 2 1/2 paper feed. The stick nails are the most common for the older nailers and on the box look for Bostitch as the brand to fit, as the N79 was sold under that brand not Stanley. This should Fixya!
