A huming noise from drivers front wheel I turn left and it quiets down could it be the wheel bearings?

Wheel bearings don't hum. How about a traction control or anti break lock system malfunction? Or maybe something in your powersteering system

sounds like a right front wheel bearing. when you turn to the left it puts more load on the right bearing. when you turn to the right it puts more load on the left bearing. These are a bolt in style bearing and they are fairly easy to replace.

If you think you would like to give it a try let me know and I'll get you some instructions.

Hi, the likely problem is a worn out wheel bearing. See if it quiets down when turning. If it quiets when turning right, it's the right bearing, and vice-versa. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Loud humming noise.starts around 25mph...can hear it all the time even at 65mph...sounds like a quiet lawnmower..

I am sure its the wheel bearing, now you have to figure out which side and that is done by loading the bearing while driving.

Humming noise passengers side front end goes away when turning left

sounds like a wheel bearing in your right front. apparently, there are different types of bearing setups for this vehicle, depending on wheter it's 2 or 4 wheel drive. when you are turning, you unload the faulty bearing partially, and the noise quiets down. bet it gets noisier when you turn the other way. the noise probably also changes pitch with vehicle speed. get it checked, as this can cause more serious damage, and left alone for too long can allow the wheel to come off completely!

Humming noise in rear end

It sounds like you have a bad wheel berring in the rear, but they are a sealed unit, with no where to grease them. If you want to quiet it, you need to replace it, but first i would reccomend jacking it up on the wheel you believe to be making the noise and spin it and shake it, just to be certain it is the one you want to replace.
Good luck
