No. There are a ton of scams especially about upgrading or security issues. Do not give any personal information ever. Do not let anyone also access your computer or devices remotely as well. They can erase or set virus after they've retrieved your information.

I have installed windows vista home basic in my laptop, but i dont have any product key, can someone give me some? i badly need it please, i need windows vista home basic 32bit product key...

Hello, in order to obtain a product key you will need to purchase a legit copy of windows. If you purchased this Vista operating system but lost the product key, you may want to contact Microsoft to see if they can help you. http://support.microsoft.com/ph/11732 This is the main page for Vista Support.

Victim of software counterfeiting

Each copy of Windows XP has a unique 25-character license-key.
Legallly, that license-key can only be used to install Windows XP on _one_ computer at a time.

However, Microsoft is stating that the license-key used for your copy of Windows XP has been used on _more_ than one computer.

So, follow the on-screen instructions to use you credit-card to purchase a valid license-key for Windows XP. Or, if you have a fairly-recent computer, purchase a copy of Windows 7, and upgrade your computer.

Where did you get your computer? A computer-store that has "reused" a license-key is in violation of their contracts with Microsoft, and should be reported: 1-800-R-U-LEGIT.

Why isnt my product key being accepted? is it because its for 2007 not 2010?

Hi.

Verify that is typed correctly. 8 and B look similar.

If the key is legit and for the correct software, contact the company who made the software(microsoft, adobe, etc) and get it sorted out. Sometimes, keys get deactivated when they are used too may times or the key needs to be phoned in.

Good luck.

My windows 7 ultimate is not geniun now

Telephone Microsoft, if your COMPAQ was originally shipped with Windows 7 Ultimate (or shipped with Windows Vista and a free-upgrade to Windows 7 was included). Call them at 1-800-RU-LEGIT.

Product key forr windows xp service pack 3

This sounds like your original product key is either fake or has been hijacked and distributed though the net. Microsoft have a database of keys that are not REAL keys and ones that have been shared out over multiple PC's.

It may have been working ok in Service Pack 2 as the copy protection that checks the key has been removed or disabled. So putting on Service Pack 3 has reenabled the key checker or has put a new product key checker in.

As any windows platform can be upgraded and the key will still work. So going from SP2 to SP3 will be ok if the product key is legit.

First double check your key id a real key. It will be on a holographic or green sticker that if removed from where it is stuck will come off in little pieces and not be readable.

If you believe your key is legit then you can contact Microsoft through their site and request a new key to be sent out. They will investigate your claim and may even ask for you to send your existing key (Sticker) back to them.

There are other ways of making your windows genuine by downloading programs like Make your Windows Genuine from torrent sites, but these methods are not reconmended and your windows will still be an unauthorised edition. This can also be view as software piracy so I personally would not attempt it.

No 25 character key for Microsoft Office Home and Student.

Ask the person who loaded the software to give you the key.

Or, call 1-800-RU-LEGIT, and have your credit-card ready.

Office 2007 wont upgrade from project 2007

Sorry to tell you this but Project 2007 isn't listed as an option to upgrade to the Office Professional. If you had Project through an Office Suite previously it would have been. Go to the URL pasted below and it will show products elegible for the upgrade. Good luck.
