This is normally caused by the way the drain line is run. I don't know if this is the problem, but check out this diagram. Hope this helps and best wishes.

Display shows 'fault waterproof'. what is wrong?

I have been trouble shooting my own Miele issue and may have found your answer, which seems to be easily fixed. Apparently one can reset the water fault sensor by tipping the machine forward at 45 degrees. If water comes out the bottom pan, then you will have reset the sensor. You should check for leaks especially in the door gasket. However if it comes on again, you probably have a leak that you need to address.

What to do to rectify water coming from the base of the washing machine?

The water will be from either the incoming mains water supply or the drainage system or the door seal etc.
check to see if its clean and clear, mains cold water.
grey soapy, waste water.
3 of the most common leaks are on the waste system.
1. the door seal.
2. the ribbed grey waste hose can leak when water is being pumped out, usually at the ribs of the hose.
3 the inspection port on the bottom front of the machine, which usually collects 5p's, 1p's, underwire from underwear etc.

Kenmoor elite he 5t steam washer 47787 leaking from bottom. cant tell where leak is origanating from

Check your incoming fittings at the back of the machine-then if they aren't leaking your going to need to do a tear down and check inside machine-if you can't see anything going on you may need to hook water back up and run to see where the leak is-cheers Denny

Hi - I have a Duet Front load washer and the error code I keep getting is F (only F, no number after it) and the machine is dripping from the bottom. Any idea what the issue is?.

Code F is a water fill error code.

Check All your incoming hoses for leaks or kinks.Check supply water inlets screens for blockage or debri.

Also have a look at your drain hose for blockage or leaks.

Leaking from the front top of machine immediately when cycle begins...

Not sure if this is the same problem but my old WD800 used to spew water out of the top left corner where the detergent tray is. This occurred at one point in the cycle. It was cured by turning down the incoming water pressure on the external tap under the kitchen sink (in this particular case, the cold water)
