No. These cameras store images in a JPEG format (PV-SD5000 can also store images in the TIFF format) and can be used with any software package that can open a JPEG or TIFF image.

You're problem is that all versions of photodelux are not supported by windows vista nor is it planned in the future to support this product. You might try LEFT MOUSE CLICK then see if it will give you the oppertunity to run as a 2000 app. Otherwise sorry.

I found this solution on another forum and it worked for me. I have Adobe Photodeluxe 4 on a vista OS and got the same RAM error. I tried the "change the virtual memory" fix and that did not work. Then I found this: Right click on the Adobe Photodeluxe icon on the desktop and choose Properties, click on the Compatibility tab and choose run this progam in Windows XP service pack 2 mode. It worked for me!
