Re: condensation

Should not be a problem. Be aware that these units cook more quickly...and they pull out moisture differently from the food and some of it hits colder parts of the oven...condensation. If all else seems well, you're okay.

Water / steam leaking from front

Is there a stove on top. If so, you may have water dripping from the top down into the area just above the oven. Does this moisture form when cooking or is it present all the time.

When I use the convection oven, the glass door totally steams this normal? I don't remember it doing so when it was new, but maybe it did. The condensation is between the glass on the oven door...

It is not normal for this to happen. The seal must be perished or worn allowing moist warm air to come into contact with the cooler outer glass thus condensation is forming on the inside.

It is not a major issue as it will depend on the moisture content of what you are cooking but it will obviously prevent you seeing inside when it occurs.

It is one of those minor irritating things that can happen.

The only way to solve the problem long term is to have the thing resealed as normally it is a mastic seal rather than fibre one.

Lots of water/condensate ends up on bottom of oven

I have the same problem with my new Smeg oven. I try to avoid using the oven at the moment because of the amount of condensation I have to mop up each time I use it, even the floor get wet!. Smeg have said they will replace it but I am now looking for an oven that will fit into the 'whole' the oven will leave in my newly renovated kitchen. I wish I had never ventured near to SMEG. I would never recomend Smeg to friends, quite the opposite.

Gaggenau EB 194 Double Oven fuse blowing

from your description, it seems the little fuse is overheating sometimes, a short is a short and an immidiate fuse blower. i would use a higher amperage fuse, 30 amps. any electronic tech can replace this, doesnt have to be your Gaggenau guy, as it seems to me hes made a regular income of this

Maytag double oven-top cleans itself-bottom reads unavaiable?

Either BOTH cannot clean at the same time b/c they heat to 700deg and use alot of power, OR the 'Door secure' signal from the bottom oven is not getting to the controller. I suspect if that is the case, the switch is on the inside of the door, activated by the LOCK lever moving into locked position. It may be a beny switchlever, mis-adjusted LOCK lever or solenoid or disconnected wire.

If you leave the TOP open and force a clean, does the bottom lock and do nothing? (My other theory)

Whirlpool GBD307PDS Double oven stopped working.

The beeping sound is a fault code. Problem is it isn't listed. In either the top or bottom oven panel there should be a service sheet. The codes are located on this service sheet.
