Haier model BC112G. When I plug it in, the temp light flashes. Why doesn't the compressor start and it will not cool?

Bought a couple of small refrigerators (Haier) and brand new they weren't very cold. There was a real small screw in behind the temp control. If I remember correctly you turn it clockwise for cooler and counter clockwise for warmer. Try checking that out.

I have barely any space for a wine cooler and need a narrow fridge. Can anyone recommend a narrow cooling fridge for me - preferably something thermoelectric?

Without knowing the amount of space you have to put the cooler, it is difficult to find you one that will fit. What I did though was find a great site with a few brands of slim wine coolers. Look through and maybe they will have something for you.

Durabrand wine cooler

I bought 2 of these wine coolers and both of them ****! You would be better off returning it if you can or putting it in the trash. Both of mine did not keep them cool. At first they worked for about a day and then they stopped. They refrigerate around 70 to 76 degrees and stay there.

Brand new out of box and will not cool - after 12 hours - compressor is very hot ?

First question is, are there any fans that are built in that are not running? next is there may be no freon in the unit. Ive seen new stuff from the factory have no freon inside. feel the suction line (the bigger one) from the compressor. It should be cool. The discharge line (smal one) should be hot.
