My Sansa Clip died after installing Rockbox!

Maybe installing Rockbox makes your device corruption. If plug the device to pc, the pc still recognize it, update new firmware from sandisk official site, http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/
Good luck

My pc is not recognizing my sansa mp3 player clip model 1GB. Do I

Here is the manipulation to be done to remedy this.

To begin, open Windows Explorer and click the Tools /Folder Options /Display. Look in the list "Hidden files and folders" and check "Show hidden files and folders."
  • Right click on the icon "My Computer" from desktop and then click Properties. Then click on Hardware then Device Manager.
  • Right click on the line marked "Unknown Device" and click "Update Driver".
  • Then in the wizard to update the hardware choose "No, not this time."
  • Click "Next."
  • Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)".
  • Click Next.
  • Then click on "Do not search I will choose the driver to install".
  • Choose from the list of hardware USB hub.
  • Click Next.
  • Click on "Disk".
  • A window opens. Then click "Browse", go to C: /windows/inf and select usbstor.inf and click Open.
  • The path of the selected driver will appear in the previous window. Click "OK". The driver will be installrd and you have a line called "Device USB Mass Storage".
  • Choose from the list of hardware "Storage Volume".
  • Click "Next."
  • Click on "Disk".
  • A window opens. Click "Browse", go to C: /windows/ inf and select volsnap.inf select and click "Open."

Computer not recognizing clip

This may be due to the usb cord you do use to transfer the clips. Better still check the clip format if it is compatible with the software designed on the MP3Player. I also bought one with the same problem but i was able to detect that those around now are more of inferior types. thanks bro/sis

Sansa clip code 10 error

The solution for a Code 10 error is always to unplug the mp3 player from the computer, uninstall all software related to the hardware (in this case, uninstall all Sansa-related software), restart your computer, reinstall all software from the installation CD (you can also get it from Sandisk's website if you have lost the CD), restart the computer one more time, and THEN replug the mp3 player.

There MIGHT be an easier way - you can try running the Sansa Recovery Tool - but Code 10 is almost universally an uninstall/reinstall situation.

Sansa clip mp3 player

To help you with that, I need to know what operating system your using (XP, Vista, ect...) and what other devices you have plugged into the computer. There are a few things you can try. When you plug it in, does it say it's connected? Does the "Found new hardware" wizard come up? Let me know, I'll see what I can do to help

Couldn´t connect SanDisk Sansa e250 to Computer

I don't know what to tell you, but since nobody else is helping. Make sure that you've got the mp3 player plugged into a usb port.

Oh, and hopefully you're running XP or Vista. Sandisk requires it.
