I cannot download songs from itunes onto my sansa

This can get quite difficult due to copyright problems. Even though you legally purchased the music, ITunes uses something called Digital Rights Management to keep people from doing anything illegal with their products. In addition, the Sansa media player most likely does not support MP4 format, which is what ITunes plays music in. Hopefully, you dont have many songs you are wanting to do this with. You have 1 of 3 options that I know of:

1. -Burn all files onto a blank cd.
-Re-load the files into itunes from the blank cd (Import) (This
strips the DRM and should allow you to put the music into a
foreign player). You will, however, lose the artwork from the
songs and will have to re-name them most likely.
-You will also have duplicate songs in ITunes until you delete
the copy you dont want (or keep it).
2. Purchase a software like noteburner which can strip DRM for
you (does the same as option 1, just cleaner). Costs approx.
3. Trade the Sansa for an IPOD.

are you trying to copy music onto a cd disk or onto your ipod. If you are trying to copy music onto your ipod, you will have to clear the ipod of the music that was loaded onto it previously, because it will not detect your new settings on your laptop. An easy way to do this is copy over your itunes music folder onto cd/dvd from your old computer and paste the music into your itunes music folder on your laptop. When you open itunes go to file, import file, and choose your itunes music folder. (If it hasn't aready automatically picked the music up). This will put all of your music back into the itunes library. You will then need to create another playlist for your ipod. Reset your ipod in itunes mode and upload your new playlist onto it. If you have vista on your laptop then you may need to download the lastest version of itunes. You can do that by going here>
I hope this helps

Nextar mp3

you cant put music from iTunes onto your mp3.. it doesnt work that way, you have to rip songs from a CD you already own onto your computer and then you must go into your media on your computer to do this. and then there should be a file labled the title of what the album was called.... you also need to go and click the start icon on the bottom left hand part of your screen, click the icon that says: 'My Computer' , then click on the icon that says CENSO (E;) , go to your media page and click the file of songs you wish to add to your mp3 and drag it to the mini bar at the bottom of the screen that has your mp3 info (songs and stuff, FYI dont delet anything from there that is NOT a song), your mp3 info page should pop up and then last but not least, drop your song file in any BLANK space.

Good luck and i hope i helped you :D
